The Dialogue

The Dialogue is our termly magazine that analyses contemporary political and cultural issues, over a broad theme reflecting today’s issues.

It’s an amazing avenue for students to get involved in journalism and commentary and gives a more critical edge to what we deliver. It has had 28 editions, and now is going into its 29th edition. Previous themes have included What Gives You Power; Change; Intersectionality.

To facilitate this, we have a team of co-editors in chief, section editors and design editors.  [I’ve included the two previous themes to be included on the website]. In our most recent edition “Change” our articles ranged from analysis on how immigration is reshaping the British soundscape to the fragility of democracy to Lebanese Civil Society to contemporary populism to “Kamala is Brat”.

It is an amazing opportunity to show the best of student political commentary, and includes a launch party after every edition is published. This year, we are also hiring a team of social media writers to publish online content for the dialogue on top of our termly writers.
